Glorybelle loves volunteering as a chaplain to support our hardworking officers, firefighters, and dispatchers to help our community. “I’m so thankful to God for letting me serve in this way, in the name of His son, Jesus.”

Then he called for a light and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out, and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

He describes his role as a chaplain as, “Helping people in their greatest time of need, walking folks through crisis incidents.”

Always question statements, never question questions. I've never gotten in trouble for the things I didn't say.

Dave Williams

Senior Chaplain

Dave has been married for 44 years and has three adult sons. He has degrees in journalism, pastoral ministry, and conflict management.

As a chaplain, Dave is honored to be invited into the lives of strangers and given permission to help them cope, make decisions, grieve and move forward from life’s great tragedies. Hopefully, in the process, assisting them with long term recovery mechanisms.

He must become greater; I must become less. The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.
